Ronald Eugene Blankenship, age 79, of Mount Vernon, IN, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, at home. Ronald was born December 23, 1939, in Evansville, IN, to Willard and Margaret Ann Miller. He was a Veteran in the United States Army and later worked as a security officer for Comaier for 30 years.

Ronald was an avid member of The Fraternal Order of the Owls and The Fraternal Order of the Eagles of Evansville. He is survived by his sons, Brian A. Blankenship and Mark A. Blankenship, grandsons, Brian D. Blankenship and Robert Blankenship; and great granddaughter, Dakota Blankenship. He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Sandra (Waters) Blankenship; daughter, Kathy Blankenship; and brothers, Willard “Junior” Blankenship and Robert Blankenship.

No Funeral Services and Burial will be Private. Arrangements are being handled by Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
