OBITUARY Mabel Lucille Ice May 20, 1929 – December 23, 2018 Mabel L. (George) Ice, 89, of Evansville, IN passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Linda E. White Hospice House. She was born in Ozark, IL on May 20, 1929 to the late Hartsell and Lenora George. She enjoyed puzzles, board games, watching Hallmark, TBN and older television shows, but her favorite thing was spending time with her family.

Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Ice; sons, Gary Lee Ice, Danny Ray Ice; brothers, Ronnie George, Bill George, Val George; and sister, Betty Jean George. She is survived by son, Larry Ice (Beverly); daughters, Joyce Ice, Marcia Staples (Michael), Regina Frantz (Brett); grandchildren, Kenny Frantz (Mary), Dawn Frantz Bacon (Jacob); four great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Yeager (Wendell); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Alexander East Chapel officiated by Pastor Cathy West with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.

Friends may visit 3-7 p.m. on Thursday and 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
