Martha Louise (Ewing) Eissler, 92, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Golden Living Center-Brentwood. Martha was born in Kentucky on December 11, 1926 to the late Allen and Mable (Bennett) Ewing. During World War II, Martha worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” and in many other roles in the local factories.

She enjoyed making crafts, and was a talented seamstress and avid bowler. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Eissler in 1995; daughter, Barbara Osborne in 2013; her parents; her brothers, Harold and Sidney; and by her sister-in-law and friend, Billie.

A celebration of Martha’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. , Evansville, IN 47711. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday at Browning Funeral Home.
