Obituary for John Fontana John Fontana, age 86, of Madison Heights, passed away November 4, 2018. He was born March 28, 1932 in Detroit. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie, whom he married February 16, 1957 in Detroit; his sons, Anthony (Kathleen) Fontana of Troy and Daniel (Susan) Fontana of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Katie Hamade and Rochelle (Shawn) Green, Nicole Fontana and Steven Fontana; and great grandchildren Noah Hamade, Adam Hamade and Alexander Green.

He was predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Rose Fontana; and brothers, Joseph and Michael Fontana. John was a U.S. Navy veteran awarded the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal-(3) and Good Conduct Medal. John’s ashes will be scattered at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly ~ date and time pending.
