John William Havill Jr., 27, Bridgeport, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. John was born September 29, 1990, in Lawrenceville, the son of John Sr. and Karen (Pinkstaff) Havill. John was the maintenance director at Aperion Care in Bridgeport.

John loved spending time with his son Jaxson and his family and friends. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and a diehard Chicago Cubs fan. He is survived by his mother, Karen Havill of Lawrenceville; son, Jaxson Havill of Olney; sister, Angela Scott of Lawrenceville; grandparents,William and Norma Pinkstaff of Lawrenceville; uncles, Roger (Debbie) Havill of Allendale, IL and George (Barbara) Havill of St. Francisville; aunts, Sheree Mullis of St. Francisville and Kathy (Mark) Satterfield of Lawrenceville; and niece, Lucy Scott; nephew, Lane Scott of Lawrenceville; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Havill Sr. and grandmother, Evelyn Havill. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM EST (Indiana time) with Pastor Jon Miller officiating at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of service also at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Cemetery in St. Francisville.
