Obituary for John Lewis Jarman Funeral services for John Lewis Jarman, age 81, of Lindale, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale with Ira Lynn and Taylor Jarman officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindale City Cemetery. John passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at The Hospice of East Texas.

He was born May 18, 1937 at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas to Rufus T. andPauline Bowles Jarman. He retired from White Swan Institutional Food Service and was employed by Smith County Lumber Company. John was a member of the South Main Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Julia McClenny Jarman of Lindale; son, John Mac Jarman and wife Gina of Lindale, daughter, Wendy Lynn Holder and husband, Jamie of Hideaway, granddaughters, Jennifer N. Glick and husband Gareth of the Woodlands, Kara L. Sullivan and husband, Michael of College Station, Allie C. Dupnik, and husband John of Henderson, grandsons, John Taylor Jarman of Lindale and Kyle H. Holder of Tyler, great grandsons, Grayson John and Jackson Everett Glick and great granddaughter, Paisley Lynn Sullivan, aunt, Florine Jeffery and cousin, Sherry Welch. Serving as pallbearers will be Pat McClenny, Tony McClenny, Mike McClenny Dick McClenny, Jerry Terry and John Pittman. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby McClenny, Edsel Loving, and Earl Gilbert.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. If desired, memorials may be made to The Hospice of East Texas 4111 University Blvd. Tyler, Texas, 75701.
