OBITUARY John Morris Woods April 6, 1923 – December 31, 2018 John Morris Woods, 95, passed peacefully to be with his Lord on Monday, Dec 31. He was a WWII Army Air Corp Veteran serving in the South Pacific. He retired from SIGECO after 43 years of service.

His love of family, travel, and the Cardinals baseball team were his joys in life. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Pauletta (Litherland) Woods. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice ( Witherspoon) Woods.

Surviving are his 5 children and 2 step-daughters. He has 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services celebrating his life will be at the Methodist Temple on Lincoln Ave.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the 11:00 funeral service on Friday, January 4th. Pastor Andy Payton will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Methodist Temple.
