Obituary for Patricia Ann Hoffman Patricia Ann (Gilles) Hoffman, 81, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Holiday Village. She was born October 21, 1937 to the late Aloysius and Olivia (Will) Gilles. Patricia attended Memorial High School for two years and graduated from the Academy of the Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, IN.

As a child she attended Saint Benedicts Catholic Church and is a 37 year member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She was an active volunteer for 41 years at the Heritage Home. Patricia has been active for over 60 years with the Legion of Mary and prayed the rosary daily.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and truly enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed IU Basketball and Notre Dame Football. Patricia is survived by her husband, William J. Hoffman, of 61 years; sons, Mark (Leah), Chris (Lisa); daughter, Debbie (Jerry) Cutler; daughter in law, Gina Hoffman; grandchildren, Laurie (Brad) McCarty- VanBibber, Jennifer ( David) Hoffman Gaddis, Karen Hoffman (Jordan Crossland), Kathryn (Derrick) Hoffman – Myers, Rebekah (Steven) Hoffman- Shoptaw, Nathan Hoffman, Elisha (John) Hoffman-Watson, Isaac Hoffman and Lucas Hoffman; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Schmitt, Ruth Hartz; brother, Eugene (Betty) Gilles; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gerard Hoffman; brothers, Cletus Gilles and Alfred Gilles. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Ave. , Evansville, IN 47710.

The rosary will be said at 5:30 pm by the Legion of Mary. Visitation will continue Monday, January 7, 2019, 10:30 am-11:00 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 918 W. Mill Rd. , Evansville, IN 47710.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am with Fr. Jason Gries officiating. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum.
