Marlon Demille Gregory passed away in the loving arms of God at 8:30 p.m. Saturday February 23, 2019 at his home. He was born March 22, 1956 in Muhlenberg County. He attended Madisonville North Hopkins High School and Kentucky State University.

He was a member of East View Baptist Church. Throughout his life, he has worked at the Petroleum Club, Bartholomews Fine Foods, Good Year, and Cody’s Restaurant. Marlon also enjoyed detailing cars and watching the Kentucky Wildcats.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Meicey Gregory, Gloria Crutcher; and brother, George Crutcher. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 16 years: Helen Gregory; son: Dearlo Shepherd (Tressalyn), daughters: Chanae Whitsell, Sha’Da Whitsell, Shamika Gant; 9 grandchildren: Autumn Shepherd, Asia Gant, Jazmariah Whitsell, Xavior Murphy, Jeremiah Whitsell, Kingston Spicey, Amonnyce Cornelius, Princess Orr, Christein Orr; brother: Jimmy Crutcher (Janis) of Nashville, TN; sisters: Patsey Sanders of Frankfort, KY, Nancy Crutcher, Glorianna McClain, Minister Phyllis Sublett all of Nashville, TN; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
