Obituary for Rosaline E Brockman Rosaline E. (Herr) Brockman, 87, of Evansville, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at her residence. She was born December 28, 1931 in Newburgh, IN to the late Jacob and Rosa Herr. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She was a charter member of Nativity Catholic Church (now Holy Rosary) and was active with quilting, working, bingo, the socials and many volunteer events. She also enjoyed gardening and camping with the children and grandchildren, walking at the mall and the many friends at the mall. She was a secretary at the Evansville Printing Corporation and later was a cook at Howard Roosa School.
She retired from cooking at Caze School. Rosaline is survived by her husband, Bernard of 65 years; sons, Steven and Robert (Gail) Brockman both of Evansville; daughters, Terri (Tim) Meyers of Jacksonville, FL, Debora (Dave) Weyer of Francisco, IN, Jan (Keary) Badger of Evansville; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a number of step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Glen and brothers, Wilber, Jim, Edward and Bernard Herr; sisters, Charlotte (Morris) Hahn, Mildred (George) Wilderman, and Mary (Terry) Feeny.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave. , Evansville. A Memorial Service will begin at 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
Visitation will continue from 9:30 am until 10:00 am Friday, January 4, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S. Green River Rd. , Evansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am with Father Bernie Etienne officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S. Green River Rd. , Evansville, IN 47715 or to the Deaconess VNA, 610 E Walnut St, Evansville, IN, 47713.
