John’s Obituary John Steven Smallwood was born September 13, 1948 in Cincinnati, OH and passed away January 21, 2019 in Cincinnati, OH at the age of 70. He was the son of the late John C. and Maude Lee Melton Smallwood. John was a retired entrepreneur and self-employed salesman.

He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of the Full Gospel Assembly, Loveland, OH. John loved fishing as well as cooking and was known to be a grill master. He was always looking for ways to stay busy and work.

On Dec. 20, 1984 he was united in marriage to Terry Watnes Smallwood. In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 daughters: Sarah Jo Andrassy (Bryan) of North Ridgeville, OH, Victoria Ann Todd (Robert) of Cincinnati, OH and Angela Suzanne Hymer (Michael) of Cincinnati, OH; 2 sisters: Aileen Liebertz (Wolfgang) of Bay Village, OH and Barbara Elizabeth Hertzer (Ronald) of Milford, OH; and 6 grandchildren: Braxdon Andrassy, Reagan Andrassy, Abigail Todd, Aubrey Todd, Avery Todd and Starlin Schloemer.

John was preceded in death by a sister: Kathleen Smallwood in 2018. Funeral services will be 5:00 PM, Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Full Gospel Assembly, 11850 N. Lebanon Rd. , Loveland, OH 45140.

Visitation will be 3:00 – 5:00 PM at the church. Burial with military honors will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY. Memorial contributions are requested to the John Smallwood Memorial Fund, c/o Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097.
