John Thomas “Tom” Bailey, age 71, of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was a Logan County native born February 24, 1947 to the late James Bailey, Sr. and Carrie Grinter Bailey. He worked at Emerson Electric for many years and was a member of Mt.

Zion Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He is survived by: Wife ~ Mary Bailey 3 Sons ~ Tim Bailey ~ Alabama Mark Todd and Jimil ~ Atlanta, GA Trey Posey ~ Bowling Green, KY 2 Step Daughters ~ Shakanta Johnson ~ Franklin, KY LaKendra Roberson ~ Russellville, KY 1 Brother ~ James Bailey, Jr. ~ Russellville, KY 1 Sister ~ Geraldine Bunton ~ Russellville, KY 17 Grandchildren Several Nieces Nephews and Cousins also survive Funeral Services for John Thomas “Tom” Bailey will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Rev.

Fred Fort officiating with burial to follow in Townsend Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the church on Friday will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
