Bill Melzo Cropper, age 65 of Auburn, Kentucky passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was a Logan County native born September 23, 1953 to the late Roy Wilbur Cropper and Helen Marshall Cropper. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Faye Scott, brother, Dan Cropper and granddaughter, Hannah Montgomery.

He was retired from Simpson County Tire after 28 years and member of Cave Spring Baptist Church. He loved to work on the farm, fish and was the go to fix it man. He loved his family and never met a stranger.

He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by: His Wife of 43 years ~ Carol Cropper 1 Son ~ Chad Cropper and wife, Melissa ~ Auburn, KY 1 Daughter ~ Heather Montgomery and husband, Josh ~ Auburn, KY 2 Brothers ~ Roger Cropper ~ Russellville, KY Jeff Cropper and wife, Lin ~ Russellville, KY 1 Sister ~ Betty Brown and husband, Garland ~ Russellville, KY 3 Grandchildren ~ Steven Cropper, Julie Cropper and Jacob Montgomery 2 Sisters In Law ~ Alice Murley and husband, Michael Donna Lacer and husband, Duke Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Bill Melzo Cropper will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro.

Chris Odle and Bro. Kenny Chyle officiating with burial to follow in Cave Spring Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Sunday from 8:00 am until the service hour of 2:00 pm.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
