Nadine Applin August 26, 1933 – January 19, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Rebecca “Nadine” Applin age 85, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on January 19, 2019 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Nadine was born in Butler County, KY on August 26, 1933 to the late Ralph and Edith Tyree. Nadine formerly worked with the Hosiery Mill in the Shipping Department for over 40 years and is a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church in Auburn where she and Richard raised their three children and in her later years, Nadine resided in Franklin where she attended Franklin First United Methodist Church with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Richard M. Applin and her sister Kathleen Tynes of Quality, KY. Nadine is survived by her: Son Todd Applin (Janet) of Franklin, two daughters Joni Stevenson (Mike) of Auburn and Lisa Holland of Acworth, GA, brother Ralph Wayne Tyree of North Carolina, five grandchildren; Brandi Stevenson Duckwall (Brian) of Liberty Township, OH, Adam Haraz (Leah) of Canton, GA, Aaron Haraz (Grace) of San Diego, CA, Amanda Haraz of Acworth, Georgia and Richard Jacob Applin of Franklin, KY and five great-grandchildren; Reagan Haraz, Reece Haraz, Brent Duckwall, Jackson Haraz and Natalie Haraz and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Nadine Applin will be conducted Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 1:30 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel with Bro.

Marvin Carson officiating and burial to follow in the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel and Tuesday from 8:00 A.M. until funeral time at 1:30 P.M. The family would like to thank all of those who provided loving, compassionate care from Greenwood Nursing Home, Hosparus and the Medical Center of Bowling Green in Nadines’s final years.
