Norene H. Pursley age 91 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab. She was a Logan County native born January 24, 1927 to the late Wallace Holman and Violette Gass Holman. She worked for Red Kap and was a member of Center Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurmond Eugene Pursley, a daughter, Lynne Anne Hudson, granddaughter, LaTonya Pursley, brothers, Alton Holman, Frank Holman and Doug Holman, and sisters, Maxola Holman and Nancy Cole. She is survived by: 2 Sons ~ Larry Pursley and wife, Gayle ~ Mobile, AL Kevin Pursley and wife, Jackie ~ Russellville, KY 1 Daughter ~ Karen Harrison ~ Trenton, KY 1 Sister ~ Annie Nash ~ Russellville, KY 5 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren 3 Great Great Grandchildren Funeral Services for Norene H. Pursley will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Don E. White and Lloyd Houchens officiating with burial to follow in Center Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Thursday from 8:00 am until the service hour of 1:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the donor’s favorite charity in memory of Norene H. Pursley.
