Patty was born November 5, 1946 in Nashville, TN to the late Lester “Hoss” Baxter Hand and late Katy Fisher Hand. She was a member of the Chandlers Chapel United Methodist Church, loved spending time with her family and Gardening.

Survived By: Husband of 53 Years: Thomas Smith of Russellville, KY Son: Clayton Baxter Smith and wife Stephanie of Lagrange, KY Daughters: Wendy Kay Penrod and husband Christopher of O’Fallon, IL Julie Ann Blake and husband Tommy of Lewisburg, KY Brother: Robert Lee Hand and wife Juanita of Pleasant View, TN Seven Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren. Patty Sue Smith will have a Celebration of Life 6 PM Sunday March 31, 2019 at the Chandlers Chapel United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held March 31, 2019 from 2 PM until the service hour at 6 PM.

In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the Gideon’s envelopes will be available at the Church. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
