Gary was born in Ahoskie, NC March 1, 1972 to Raymond Hewitt and late Hazel Wiggins Hewitt. He loved to work on Classic Cars and was a member of the Anvents.

He is preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph Hewitt and Stephen Hewitt. Survived By: Wife: Tonya Poindexter-Hewitt of Lewisburg, KY Sons: Shawn Hepfer of Lewisburg, KY Raymond “Nathan” Hewitt of Russellville, KY Daughters: Kindrea Lainn Warren of Ahoskie. NC Allyssa Judith Hewitt of Lewisburg, KY Brothers: James Hewitt, Thomas Hewitt and Michael Hewitt Grandchildren: Phoenix Poindexter, Marley Poindexter, Kimbery Marie Hewitt and Lilliana Rosalee Warren Several Nieces and Nephews Gary Hewitt will have a Memorial Visitation Wednesday March 20, 2019 from 5-8 PM.

There will be no Funeral Service. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the Logan County Humane Society envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
