Walter was born June 27, 1937 in Logan Co. KY to the late Hugh McIntosh and Mattie Lou McIntosh. He loved hunting, fishing and guns.

He was a member of the Post Oak Baptist Church. Walter is preceded in death by his sister Waylene Oden and brother Hugh McIntosh Jr. Survived By: Wife of 25 Years: Louise McIntosh of Adairville, KY Sons: Larry McIntosh of Cadiz, KY Mac McIntosh Jr. of Portland, TN Paul Eric McIntosh of Virginia Step Son: Edward Shoemake of Russellville, KY Brother: Owen McIntosh of Savanah, GA 11 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren Memorial Services for Walter McIntosh will be conducted 3 PM Friday May 31, 2019 in the Post Oak Baptist Church with Bro. Nick Stamps and Bro.

Wilbur Powell officiating. Visitation will be held Friday May 31, 2019 from 12 PM until the service hour at 3 PM In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the VA or Post Oak Baptist Church Building Fund envelopes will be available at the church. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
