She was born in Logan County, Kentucky on October 7, 1941 to the late Estel Marine and Claudis Mae (Hines) Logan. She was a member of the Mt.

Zion General Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her husband Alva D. Lancaster, two sons Johnny and Steve Lancaster and two brothers T. J. and Joe Logan. She is survived by her: Two sons David Lancaster of Bowling Green, Kentucky and James Lancaster of Russellville, Indiana, three brothers Donald Logan of Auburn, Kentucky, Raymond Logan of Auburn, Kentucky and Eugene Logan of Schochoh, Kentucky, two sisters Mattie Snell of Franklin, Kentucky and Ruth Poole of Morgantown, Kentucky, nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mary Francis Lancaster will be conducted Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel with Bro.
