He was born in Lick Skillet, Kentucky on February 6, 1926 to the late Clyde Loren and Martha Susan “Sudie” (Kees) Sanders. Clyde was a member of the Bethany Church of Christ, a 1945 graduate of Olmstead High School, operated Sanders OK Market in Dot, served as Magistrate for 8 years for Adairville, South Logan District, retired from Logan County Board of Education where he was the Transportation Director and Maintenance Supervisor and is a World War II Army Air Corp Veteran.

Clyde is preceded in death by his two brothers Jimmy Sanders and Ray Max Sanders and his sister Ann Lyons. Clyde is survived by his: Wife of 73 years Maxine (Sharp) Sanders, son Nolan Sanders and daughter Carol Sanders Howard both of Russellville, granddaughter Susan Smith (Steve) of Auburn, two great grandchildren Danielle Smith of Auburn and Ross Smith of Bowling Green. Funeral services for Clyde Nolan Sanders will be conducted Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at the Bethany Church of Christ with Harris Dockins and Bro.

William Washington officiating and burial to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Visitation will begin Saturday at the Crittenden Drive Church of Christ from 5:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. and Sunday from 1:00 P.M until time of service at 3:00 P.M. at the Bethany Church of Christ. The family ask that donation be made to the Bethany Church of Christ or to the charity of your choice.

Envelopes will be available at the Church.
