John Timothy Ryder, 50 of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Tim was born on June 1, 1967 in Canton the son of John Therold Ryder and Karen Sue (Bolender) Dale. He was a 1986 graduate of Tuslaw High School.

Tim worked at Lindsay Precast in Canal Fulton for the past 24 years. He was an avid Steelers and Massillon Football fan. Tim loved his annual trips to Geneva on the Lake.

Most of all Tim loved spending time with his family and his grandson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Sue (Bolender) Dale. He is survived by his wife, Inger (Haines) Ryder whom he married on September 25, 1993; his father, John Therold Ryder; children, Stephen (Brittany) Ryder, Jessie Renee Ryder and John Tyler Ryder; grandson, Odin Archer Ryder; step-father, Richard T. Dale; sisters, Donna (Anthony) Boothe and Denise (Tommy) Dale; brother, Thomas (Trista) Dale; father-in-law, Larry Haines; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 7 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Tim’s uncle, Dr. Larry Emery will be Officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. before the service.
