Winifred J. Morehead, 90, formerly of the Cleveland area, passed away on April 12, 2018. She was born on October 15, 1927 in Cleveland to the late Clarence and Agnes (Polson) Urban. Winnie worked as a clerk for Park Ohio Industries and retired from there after many years of service.

Following her retirement, she moved to Florida and worked for the Corning Company at the outlet mall as well as Mixon Fruit retail outlet. After returning to Ohio, she moved to Bethany Nursing Home, where she had many friends and was treated like family. In her spare time, Winnie enjoyed quilting and was known as a beautiful seamstress.

She loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Kathleen (Bob) Eastwood; grandchildren Kori (Rob) Boyd and Jason (Lauri) Eastwood; great-grandchildren Carson, Caden and Makayla; and sister A. Christine (Richard) Jarden. In addition to her parents, Winnie was preceded in death by her husband Frank Morehead, brother John Urban and first husband George Hochmuth.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home and burial will take place at Stanwood Cemetery after the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Nursing Home, 26 34th St NW, Canton, OH 44709.
