Jon K. Schleisner, age 82, passed away at the Huntington Memory Care, Janesville on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He was born in Janesville on March 25, 1936, the son of Martin and Violet (Huddlestone) Schleisner. Jon was a graduate of the Janesville High School Class of 1957.

He married Suzanne Stearns on October 29, 1960. He served his country in the Air National Guard. Jon owned and operated JS Trenching.

He was a lifelong member of the Janesville Elks Club, a member of Ducks Unlimited, served on the Board of Directors for Boys Baseball, and Friends of Beckman Mill. Jon was an avid Badger, Packer, and Ripon College Fan. Jon is survived by his wife, Suzanne; 3 children: Julie (Marvin) Pospeschil, Thomas (Vicki) Schleisner, and Ted (Jami) Schleisner; 11 grandchildren, Jamie Anne (Ben) Fortin, Austin, Jonathan, Candace, Travis, Evan, Kaitlyn, Kylie, Kendra, Olivia, and Parker Schleisner; great grandchild, Lucille; twin sister, Joan (Bruce) Pierson; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, T. William Schleisner; and sister, Donna Ruchti. His grandchildren always held a special place in his heart. He enjoyed attending all of their sporting and theatre events.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018, at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH with Fr. Joe Baker officiating.

Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
