Jose’s Obituary Jose Luis Gonzalez Nero Jr. was born on January 9, 1987 to Lou Doris Nero and Jose Luis Gonzalez. He was always full of energy, and his smile lit up any room that he entered. He was the awesome boy next door.

He always offered support and words of encouragement to his friends and family. He was the voice of reason. At the age of 32 years old on Saturday morning March 9, 2019 we lost our Superhero.

Jose was a beautiful soul, a respectful son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and most of all; he was a best friend to everyone. Jose was very talented and a well-known music artist in his community and he also had his own clothing line. Jose had big dreams.

Jose also took pride in working with disadvantaged youths at multiple group homes over several years. He’s touched many lives and is well respected amongst his peers and the young people that looked up to him. He was a hard worker and throughout his adulthood he was employed at Gandara Mental Health Center, Behavioral Health Network; Finish Line Sneaker Store; K & G Fashion Superstore; and the Boys and Girls Club.

He attended West Springfield High School in Massachusetts and later he received a Certificate of Completion at Job Corps in Jacksonville, Florida. He is survived by his mother (Lou Doris Nero Robinson) his 3 sisters (Janisha Boyer); (Michelle Andrews) and (Tanekka Nero-Knight); he has 3 brothers (George Koritz); (Majik Koritz) and (Marcus Koritz). The family would like to acknowledge Jose’s extended family (Ames and Debbie Slate); and his other siblings that also loved him and helped him develop into the awesome man that he was.

The family would also like to acknowledge his special friend (Leia Cato). Jose had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom loved him wholeheartedly. Everyone is missing him dearly and his memory will live on forever.

Our Young Legend will never be forgotten.
