Obituary for Joseph E. Fiedler Joseph E. Fiedler, 70, of Beloit, WI, died Wednesday, October 16, 2018 in his home. He was born on December 23, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the son of Edmund and Genevieve (Gawenda) Fiedler. Joseph was a graduate of Talcott High School, Chicago, IL.

He married Olga Stangret in 1970, Chicago, IL. She predeceased him on February 16, 2001. Joseph was employed by West Hill Garage in Hillside, IL, retiring in 1999.

He loved reading the paper and doing Sudoku puzzles. Joseph enjoyed listening to the “oldies”, especially the Beach Boys. Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Fiedler of Beloit, WI; sisters, Mary Schultz of Chicago, IL and Fran Brogaard of Indiana; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Eddie Fiedler. Private family services will be held at a later date. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd.
