Obituary for Joseph G. Cermignano Sr. Joseph G. Cermignano, Sr., age 90. A 60 year resident of Collingdale passed away on August 24, 2018. Mr. Cermignano was born and raised in Clifton Heights to the late Pasquale and Elvira Cermignano.

Joe was a 1947 graduate of Clifton Heights High School and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Joe owned and operated the Royalty Company in Collingdale. He was a member of St. Joseph Church where he was a longtime Usher.

Joe was also a member of Collingdale Fire Company #1 and the Columbus Italian American Association in Clifton Heights. He enjoyed gardening, big band music and classic cars. Survivors: Loving wife of 61 years, Philomena (nee Esposito) Cermignano; children, Joseph G. Cermignano, Jr., Catherine M. Cermignano and Patrick (Tina) Cermignano; grandchildren, Samantha Lynn (Jacob) Innis, Phillip and Nicholas Cermignano; sister, Elvira (Joseph) Canamucio.

Visitation: Thursday 9:00 am at St. Joseph Church 500 Woodlawn Ave. Collingdale. Funeral Mass: Thursday 10:30 am at St. Joseph Church.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 1626 Locust St. Philadelphia, PA 19103.
