Joseph (Joe) Johnson Dalton, 81 formerly of rural Hayesville died Friday October 19, 2018 at The Good Shepherd. He was born September 9, 1937 in Ashland Co. the son of Arthur and Lillie Robinson Dalton. He was a 1956 graduate of Hayesville High School and a maintenance man for National Latex.

Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a 16 year veteran of the Hayesville Fire Department and an accomplished electrician and plumber. He is survived by two daughters, Dianna Dalton and Debbie Dalton, both of Ashland, and a brother, Richard (Barb) Dalton of Hayesville. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Linda Harlan Dalton on August 26, 2018 and a brother, Art Dalton.

Services will be 1:00 PM Friday October 26, 2018 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor Dennis Rinehart officiating. Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday October 25, 2018 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
