Obituary of Josephine Leszczynski Beloved wife, mother and grandmother Josephine “Josie” Leszczynski, age 80 years, of Conshohocken, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018. Josephine was born in Philadelphia, Pa on Tuesday July 12, 1938. Josie’s first passion was making a home for her husband and children.

She often volunteered as a PhysEd teacher with St. Mary’s School and Archbishop Kennedy High School. Josie also enjoyed her position as a retail associate with the former Conshohocken Paper Store, Al’s Deli and Al’s Liberty. She loved talking with people and brightened many customers’ days.

She was affectionally known as “Mrs. L” by many because she voluntered with many local sports and civic organizations. Mrs. L enjoyed rooting for her favorite teams on TV, but she loved watching her own children and grandchildren many sports activities even more. She is survived by her husband Walter J. Leszczynski of Conshohocken, her children Julianne (& Charles) McLenigan of Lafayette Hill and John (& Jennifer) Leszczynski of Flourtown, her 4 grandchildren Casey Grohman, Monica McLenigan, Mackenzie Leszczynski, & Caiden Leszczynski, and She is also survived by her 3 sisters Regina Fahy, Margaret “Maggie” Fahy & Bernadette Fahy.

She was preceded in death by a brother Martin Fahey. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Matthew’s RC Church, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA19428. Her viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, mornin from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.

Interment will be in St. Benedict’s Cemetery, Conshohocken. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to: the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia, PA 1518 Walnut Street, Suite 712, Philadelphia, PA 19102.
