OBITUARY Jovita Herrera Gonzales February 15, 1940 – November 30, 2018 Jovita Herrera Gonzales, age 78, of Weslaco, Texas passed away on Friday November 30, 2018. Jovita was born February 15, 1940 to Elvira Balderas Herrera and Manuel Herrera. Jovita is survived by; husband Leandro Esparza Gonzales; daughter Irma Angelica Gonzales Garcia (+Carlos Charlie); son Joe Leandro Gonzales (Felipa ); daughter Martha Gonzales Davila (Robert); daughter Sylvia Gonzales Medrano (Maximino); and son Eliseo Gonzales (Blanca); mother-in-law Adela Sandoval.

Jovita was preceded in death by; mother Elvira Balderas Herrera and father Manuel Herrera; sister Herminia Herrera Barrera. Private Family Visitation Services for Jovita will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home, followed with the Public Visitation at 1:00pm to 9:00pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Service in Honor of Jovita will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM at La Iglesia de Dios Vivo Columna Apoyo de la Verdad El Bueno Pastor, 300 S Victoria Rd, Donna, TX, followed with the Interment at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX.
