JOYCE’s Obituary Joyce Manion Tapp, 92, of Zion, Kentucky, passed away at 1:27 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018, Redbanks Nursing Home. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church. Joyce loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was an avid UK Basketball fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Louis Bethel Tapp, who died October 25, 2003; and her parents, James Herbert and Jessie Mae Crook Manion. Survivors include two daughters, Renny Matthews and her husband, Doc, and Renesa Abner and her husband, Scott, both of Henderson, Kentucky; one son, Randall S. Tapp and his wife, Pam, of Henderson, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Ryan Staples, Cory Staples, Nicholas Vancil, Jesse Tapp, Noah Abner, and Camble Abner; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Sue Walker and Marilyn Fritts and her husband, Danny; nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.

Dr. Marcus Daly will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to Zion Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be grandchildren. Online condolences may be made at www.
