Rivera, Juan A. of Everett, formerly of Rochester, New York and Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21st. Beloved husband of Josefa (Tirado) Rivera. Loving father of Melissa Rivera.

Dear brother of Ildefonso and Eulojia Rivera, Norma Vega, and Virginia Lopez. Cherished grandfather of Calvin Avila. Also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Juan’s life by gathering in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Wednesday, June 27th from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. followed by a prayer service. Cremation service to follow is private. The funeral home is handicapped accessible.

Courtesy valet parking is available at the front entrance.
