Juanita Johnson went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 24, 2019 at age 89. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, H.C. “Pete” Johnson; two children, Steve Johnson and Tracy (Joe) Weber; six grandchildren, Brandon (Laura) Johnson, Chris Johnson, Victoria Johnson, Tyler (Shelby) Weber, Erinne Weber, and Kendall Weber; and four great grandchildren, Gilder Johnson, Garner Johnson, Evan Johnson, and Emma Grace Johnson. Juanita is preceded in death by her son, Mike Johnson.

She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church for many years. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
