Obituary for Judith A. Kozak In CT. Hospice December 13, 2018 Judith A. Kozak 75, of Hamden. Beloved wife of Stephen J. Kozak.

Loving mother of Stephen J. Kozak, Jr. (Elizabeth) of North Easton, MA and John J. Kozak, Sr. (Linda) of Killingworth. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Kate, Christina, Becky, John Jr. Andrew Kozak and Gwen Burke (Joe). Judith was born in Waterbury on May 10, 1943 daughter of the late John and Theresa Riccuito Upatoff and her brother James Upatoff.

Her service to the Town of Hamden included President League of Women Voters, Democratic Town Committee, CT Democratic State Central Committee, 1st District Council-Woman for the Legislative Council, Legislative Council President, Chair of Police Commission, Chair of Civil Service Commission, Member of the Board of Assessment Appeals, Purchasing Agent, Fleet Manager, Finance Director, Town Hearing Officer, Campaign Chairperson or Campaign Treasurer to many candidates. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
