Obituary for Judith Ann Clemente Judith Ann Clemente (nee Gomeringer), age 74 died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on May 30th, 2018. Judy lived most of her life in Pennsville until moving to Cape May Court House just before her retirement from Pennsville Memorial High School where she taught English. She was the daughter of Warren and Dorothy Gomeringer and is survived by her children Anthony (Angela) Clemente Jr., Laura Weiser (Robert Mitchell), Ellen Woolman (John), niece Jill Clemente (Ron), and her beloved grandchildren; Mitchell and Tristan Weiser, Sophia Clemente, Jessica and Olivia Woolman.

Judy is also survived by her mother Dorothy Gomeringer, her sisters Charlaine Hutchinson (Jim), Nancy Gerber (Keith), Susan Gonzales (Kirk), and her brother John Gomeringer (Cathy) as well as many nieces and nephews. Most importantly, she is survived by the love of her life, Anthony P. Clemente, Sr. Judy and Tony were married for 55 years. Their love was unconditional and admired.

They were the couple everyone wanted to be. Their home on Tufts Road was the center of the entire family for decades. The family gathered there for Christmas Eve, birthdays, anniversaries, showers and of course homemade spaghetti, keeping her family close and always connected.

Judy and Tony’s love of the beach moved them to Cape May Court House, where Stone Harbor became the new center for the family. Some of the best years were spent on the beaches of Stone Harbor with her grandsons Mitchell and Tristan…until the “back-to-school” birds signaled the end summer. Judy’s talents were endless.

She made wedding cakes for many, clothing for her children, quilted, and crafted whatever interested her and always had the most beautiful garden. She was a passionate teacher, lover of music, flowers, and travel. Early in their marriage, Judy was determined to travel.

Together with Tony, family, friends and students, they made their dreams a reality and visited over 10 countries. Judy was a force to be reckoned with. She courageously fought cancer for over 10 years.

This extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend will never be forgotten.
