Obituary for Julia Ann Roberts Julia Jones Roberts Of Mint Hill Mrs. Roberts, 82, passed away on April 11, 2018. There will be a graveside service at 11am on Monday, April 16th at Sunset Memorial Gardens in the Temple of Faith Mausoleum. Julia was born on November 30, 1935 to the late Lee and Rossie Jones.

She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, James ‘Roger’ Roberts and her brother, Roy Jones. Mrs. Roberts spent most of her time at Roberts Small Engine Repair, in Matthews, NC, with her sons after her husband, Roger, passed away in 2001. She loved and dedicated her life to her family.

She is survived by her sons, Doug Roberts and Terry Roberts and his wife Michelle, and granddaughter, Jamison. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Soles 2 Remember, a local charity in support of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. Checks can be made out to Soles 2 Remember and mailed to Mint Hill Police Dept, 7151 Matthews Mint Hill Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227 or dropped off in person.
