Julia Ann Wentworth, age 81, of Battle Creek, passed away on October 24, 2018 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was born on March 1, 1937 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Amiel and Julia Siefke. She graduated in 1955 from Battle Creek Central High School and was formerly employed as a vault teller for Michigan National Bank in Battle Creek.

She was united in marriage on May 31, 1958 to Leon Wentworth. Julia enjoyed square dancing, sewing, camping and singing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon on July 18, 2010, brothers; Donald, Norman, Marvin, sisters; Dorothy, Helen, Laura, Wilma, Jean, Arletta, and Doris.

Julia is survived by her children; Kathryn (Craig) Heuer of Davenport, IA. , James (Traci) Wentworth of Galesburg, MI. , Rhonda (Charlie) Warthling of Virginia Beach, VA.

, sister; Arlene Schragg, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Binder Park Zoo or the Alzheimer’s Association. Condolences may be left for the family at www.
