Obituary for Areshae Gumbs Areshae Korrin Gumbs, 24, of Fulton, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at home. She was born on January 17, 1994, the daughter of Duane Allan Gumbs and LaShelle Dennis (Smith) Gumbs-Williams. Areshae graduated from Kellogg Community College with the Class of 2017, with an Associates Degree in General Studies.

She was employed by Walmart in Battle Creek for the past 3 years. Areshae is survived by her Parents, Three Sisters, D’laiya Gumbs, Charley Williams, Lacourtney Lache Stewart; Brother, Kalen Marcus Brown; Grandparents, Bobby and Bernice Jackson; Grandmothers, Merry Farris, Ulrica Edwards of Jamaica; Three Special Cousins, Jordan Emon Cooper and Jaslynn-Amber and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family members. Areshae loved fishing, dogs, dancing, rapping and singing to music, listening to Chris Brown music, hanging out with her sisters, wearing hats and writing.

Areshae inspired to be a writer later in life. She dreamed of having a fleet of corvettes in the future. She will truly be missed by her family, her friends, and anyone else that knew her and loved her.

A celebration of Areshae’s life will be held at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service, on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Arrangements by the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service. 269-788-9800.
