Obituary for Julia Kathleen Thompson Groom Sadly, on Friday September 7, 2018, at 2:36am, our beloved mother, Julia Kathleen Thompson-Groom finished the race here on earth and entered Heaven. Julia was born in July 1936, in London England. She left England in 1963, unfortunately she was never able to return.

Julia never stopped being British and had a love of Great Britain that never left her. Julia loved crocheting and many of her loved ones have a special Afghan blanket in their favorite colors. Julia was much more than a homemaker, she was a devoted military wife, mother and friend.

Julia loved reading and had an extensive collection of books. She loved to write and passed these gifts to her children and grandchildren. Julia is survived by her children, Lee Roloff of Sutter, Carrie Roloff of Antioch, Todd Roloff (Jennifer) of Alameda, Sean-Michael Roloff of Redding; grandchildren, Cristy, Morgen, Bryce, Sara, Bethany, Peyton, Taylor, Ashlee and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are under the direction of Ullrey’s Memorial Chapel. Burial is Monday, September 17, 2018, at 11:00am at Sutter Cemetery, Sutter, CA. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Julia Kathleen Thompson Groom please visit our Sympathy Store.
