Julianne Cullen April 21, 1948 – August 08, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Gifts Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Julianne Cullen, 70, of 25 Powers Avenue, Johnsonburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness. She was born on April 21, 1948, in Johnsonburg, the daughter of the late Floyd and Marie ‘Ceil’ Bianco Jovenitti.

She resided in Johnsonburg since 2000, but had previously lived in Atlanta, Georgia from 1979 to 2000, as well as Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Julianne graduated from Elk County Catholic High School in 1966 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1970. She later would go on to earn a master’s degree in education from IUP in 1972.

She was a part of the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg and the Sacred Heart Church of St. Marys. She also was a member of the Funeral Luncheon Committee at the Holy Rosary Church. She was an extremely active volunteer and supporter of the St. Vincent DePaul Society as well.

Julianne was employed by the Johnsonbug Area High School for eight years before retiring in 2010. She previously had worked at the Kane Area High School for two years as well as the Cobb County schools in Georgia for 14 years and the Buck County school district for seven years. She is survived by her mother, Marie ‘Ceil’ Jovenitti, of St. Marys; a daughter, Sheila Renee Cullen Woltering and her husband Clinton Matthew Woltering of Annapolis, Maryland; a brother, Paul Jovenitti of Glen Hazel; and two sisters, Valerie M. Jovenitti Biel of St. Marys and Mary T. Jovenitti Wilson and her husband John of Janeville, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Jovenitti. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Cristian Burial at the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. The Rev.

Michael Gabler, OSB, Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, St. Marys, will be officiating.
