Kaisy Lynn “KK” Knott, age 13, of Mt. Airy, died Monday, September 10, 2018 at her home after a courageous battle with DIPG (brain stem glioma) for 21 months. Born April 12, 2005 in Westminster, she was the daughter of David W. Jr. and Melany Martin Knott of Mt.

Airy. Kaisy was an 8th grader attending Windsor Knolls Middle School in Ijamsville. She was a member of Westfalls Community Church of Mt.

In addition to her parents she is survived by maternal grandfather, Thomas R. Martin of Westminster; paternal grandmother, Judy Hubble and Donnie of Point of Rocks; 3 sisters, McKenzy and Kelsy Wolfe and Aubry Knott; numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles and cousins and her best friend, Morgan Thompson. She was predeceased by maternal grandmother, Sandra Martin and paternal grandfather, D. Wayne Knott Sr. The family will receive friends at the hall of the Libertytown Volunteer Fire Department 3-7 p.m. Thursday, September 13 where an informal service will be held from 7-8 p.m., with Bishop Ross Jackson, officiating.
