Obituary for Karen Gail Walbridge Karen Gail Walbridge passed away peacefully at home on September 23, 2018 following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin to Kenneth and Ramona Amundson and was the eldest of three sisters. Karen served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the France Switzerland Mission and earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Utah.

She taught junior high for 25 years. She loved celebrating her Norwegian heritage, loud classic rock music and watching her grandchildren play. Karen was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Roxanne and Lori.

She is survived by her three children: Christopher (Memorie), Michael (Amanda), Jessica (Amos) and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Valley Park 1st Ward building, 4986 Valois Dr., Taylorsville. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening 6:00-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the church.
