Cherished sister and treasured aunt, Karen Lynn Sawyer, age 54, passed away at her home in Lewisville, Texas on Friday, May 3, 2019. She was born in Marshall, Texas on September 2, 1964 to Robbie Glen Sawyer, Sr. and Shirley Mae Cook. Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Robbie Sawyer, Sr. and Shirley Mae (Cook) Allen; and her brother, Robbie Glen Sawyer, Jr

She is survived by her sisters, Darlene Sawyer King and Lisa Sawyer; nieces and nephews, Angelica Sawyer and her children, Miranda Larma, Eric Sawyer, Dianna Sawyer and her children, Olivia Sawyer, Katarina Sawyer, Earnest Cooks, Jr., Robbie Cook, Michael Coleman, as well as numerous cousins, other family members and close friends. Karen was well-loved and she will be truly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 6:00pm at Meadowbrook Funeral Home.
