Karen McAllister August 12, 1945 – January 20, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Karen McAllister, 73, of Findlay, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019. Karen was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Alvin and Stella (Harper) Baxter. She married the love of her life John McAllister on April 11, 1964 in Canton, Ohio and he survives in Findlay.

Also surviving are her two daughters: Melissa (Clyde) Burfield of Canton, Ohio and Dr. Lisa (George) Abate of Findlay, Ohio; grandchildren: Lauren, Ava, Luke and Isaac Abate; and siblings: Sandra Cawthon of Bolivar, Ohio and Robert Baxter of Canton, Ohio. Karen was an office manager for Akron Value and Fitting and was a faithful member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Findlay and a former member of the Canton Baptist Temple. Karen enjoyed shopping, scrapbooking and most of all spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held in Karen’s honor on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:30 AM in the Trinity Baptist Church, 7839 County Rd 236, Findlay, Ohio 45840. Memorial contributions may be gifted in Karen’s honor to the Trinity Baptist Church, 7839 County Rd 236, Findlay, Ohio 45840 or to the Canton Baptist Temple, 515 Whipple Ave. NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.
