Obituary for Kathleen Zoppi Kathleen Zoppi, 74, of E. Stroudsburg, PA died on January 17, 2019. She was the loving wife of Joseph T. Zoppi with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ she was the daughter of Edward and Sylvia (Cannilla) Doody, later Sylvia (Cannilla) Petolino.

Kathleen was a resident of E. Stroudsburg area for the past 9 years and prior to that she resided in the Hopatcong, NJ area for many years. Kathleen worked as a medical clerk in the NJ area. She was an active member of the St. Matthew’s R.C. Church in E. Stroudsburg, PA and the Embroiders’ Guild of America, Pocono Mtn Chapter.

In addition to her husband, Joseph, Kathleen is survived by a son Thomas J. Zoppi and wife, Irene of Fort Meade, MD; a daughter Sandra Smith and husband, Anthony of E. Stroudsburg, PA; 5 grandchildren: Andrew and wife, Patricia, Nicole, Isabel, Kyle and Antonio; 2 great grandchildren, Noelle and Hazel; siblings Victoria Conforti, Diane Aromando, Francine Corcoran and Cori Lovejoy Sauzedde and 21 nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N. 9th St, Stroudsburg, PA and on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s RC Church, 200 Brodhead Ave, E. Stroudsburg, PA followed by a Mass of Christian burial starting at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
