Obituary of Kathreen Ann Whittington Memorial services for Kathreen Ann “Kathy” Whittington, age 65 of Grayson will be announced later in this week. Kathy was born on September 16, 1952 at Jena, LA to the union of her parents, James McGraw and Mary Louise Beckham McGraw and she passed from this life on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at her residence in Grayson surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; by her sister, Rita Jordan; her brother, Edgar McGraw and her in-laws: Owen C. “Pete” Whittington and Lurlene Strickland Whittington.

Kathy loved crafting and had so many different hobbies. She loved to visit garage sales and search out that one special piece. She loved flower gardening and her hummingbirds were precious to her.

To know Kathy was to love her. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jimmy Whittington; two daughters: Christy Whittington and Jennifer “Jenny” Gibson and husband, Andy; one granddaughter, Heather Montgomery and husband, Eric; one great-grandson, Addison Gannon Stryker Olden; two sisters: Angela Hill and husband, Bill and Diane Hollindshead; two brothers: Joe Smith and wife, Ann and Charles Smith and wife, Theresa and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
