Kayla’s Obituary Funeral services for Mrs. Kayla Marie Perkins will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at The Lighthouse Church, Oakdale, with Reverend Jerry Odom officiating. Interment will follow in Oakhill Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mrs. Perkins, 36, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA.

Kayla attended Plainview High School and was an avid member of the 4H Club, the National Beta Club and the National FFA Organization. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Glen Perkins; paternal grandparents, James Monroe and Louana Perkins and her maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Jewel Willis.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Quincy James Perkins, of Oakdale; one daughter, Sydney Shantee’ Perkins, of Oakdale; her mother, Rose Perkins, of Oakdale and one sister, Monica “Monkey” Perkins, and wife, Tyisha Washington, of Oakdale.
