Keith’s Obituary Keith Lee Boppe, 79, of Hagerstown, passed away on March 4, 2019 at Meritus Health Center in Hagerstown. Keith was born in Hagerstown, Maryland. He was a 1958 graduate of Hagerstown High School.

He was a member of the Maugansville Ruritan Club for 53 years and was past president of the club for 2 terms. He was in past years a volunteer at the Hagerstown Community College, and at the Company 3 and Company 27 Fire Halls. Keith is survived by his brother, Eric and his wife Lynne; sister-in-law, Fran Boppe; nieces, Tara Boppe, and Heather Andrews and her husband Jess; grand nieces, Danille Kunda, Tegan Andrews, and Faryn Andrews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Mary Fales Boppe, and a brother, Gary Boppe. Keith enjoyed being with family and friends. We are grateful for all the loving support of his medical teams, family, and friends during his illness.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. , Hagerstown, with Pastor Jacob Harrison officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

He will be laid to rest in Rest Haven Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Keith’s name to the Maugansville Ruritan Club, P.O. Box 44, Maugansville, MD 21767. www.
