Kelsie James Baldwin, III, 72, of Clarkesville, GA and Otto, NC passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, he was the son of Kelsie James and Sara Byrd Baldwin. Mr. Baldwin was an industrial engineer for the US Air Force for 40 years.

He was active in 5K races all over Georgia and he ran a race in every county in the state of Georgia. He loved his farm in Clarkesville, Georgia. Survivors include his wife Julie Baldwin; daughters, Jennifer Elizabeth Baldwin (Loren Post) of Otto, NC and Jessica Baldwin Carpenter (Neal) of Macon, GA; grandchildren, Dawson Post, Summer Post, Matheson Post, Emmelin Carpenter and Walden Carpenter; siblings, Donald Baldwin and Bettsey Baldwin Johnson.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Baldwin. A private service to honor his memory will be held by his family. Donations may be made to your local humane society.
