Paul Rogers Tippett, 83, of Franklin passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Walter Robert and Rosa Wilson Tippett. He worked for E. S. Purdon Furniture Company and Progressive Building Products in Franklin.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Emma Lucille Crisp Tippett; son, Charles Gary Tippett (Sharon) of Franklin; daughter‑in‑law, Kim Tippett and seven grandchildren, Kyle Tippett, Brandon Tippett, Emilie Tippett, Daniel Tippett all of Franklin, Elizabeth Fincanon (Steven) of Reidsville, NC, Courtney Tippett and Megan Tippett both of Franklin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Roger Tippett who passed away July 8, 2013. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev.

Eddie Mason and Rev. Lloyd Fish officiating. Burial will follow in Cowee Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Tippett, Daniel Tippett, Steven Fincanon, John Melton, John Lenihan, Lee Hurst and Randy Owens. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 ‑ 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Future Farmers of America at Franklin High School.
