Ken Johnson, 74, of Mendon passed away Saturday June 23, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Joanne (Flooks) Johnson. Ken had been employed for 40 years with Morgan Construction Co. in Worcester.

He was the Director of Manufacturing and Technology before his retirement in 2002. He was born on September 7, 1943 in Milford, the son of the late J. Preston and Gladys H. (Thompson) Johnson. Mr. Johnson served in the Gulf of Tonkin during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Navy. Ken loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially in Maine. He loved to travel, enjoyed a good round of golf, indulged in a good book and was the ultimate Mr. Fix It!

In addition to his wife Joanne of 56 years, Ken is survived by his daughters, Laurie and her husband George Borghi, Susan and her husband Marcel Meacham, Sharon and her husband Timothy Healy, and Paula Johnson and her wife Nancy Gustufson, all of Mendon; two sisters, Shirley Cahill of Mendon and his twin, Kay and her husband Robert Hickman of Natick; a brother, Dick Flooks of Hopedale, ten grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 9-10:30 AM in the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress Street, Milford. A funeral Mass will directly follow the calling hours beginning at 11 AM in St. Gabriel’s the Archangel Parish, 151 Mendon St. Upton.

Burial, with Full Military Honors, will follow at Swan Dale Cemetery, Cemetery St. Mendon. Memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter 685 Canton St., Suite 103, Norwood, MA 02062.
